The Brick (Supersquare) Stitch

The Brick Stitch is basically two Square Stitches next to each other...

You will need:
3 pieces of craft lace - 2 shorter pieces of equal length, and 1 longer piece that is 1.5 times the length of one of the shorter pieces
1' of lace for the short pieces and 1.5' of lace for the long piece will equal about 1.5'' of lanyard

Tips:
If you have trouble starting the stitch, practice doing the Square Stitch starter stitch, since they are similar.
