The Corkscrew (Supertwist) Stitch

The Corkscrew Stitch is just like the Wall Stitch, only you cross the strands instead of bringing them straight across.

You will need:
4 pieces of craft lace - 3 shorter pieces of equal length, and 1 longer piece that is 2 times the length of one of the shorter pieces; 1' of lace for the short pieces and 1.5' of lace for the long piece will equal about 1.5'' of lanyard

I. Starting the Corkscrew Stitch:
The Corkscrew Stitch starts the same way as the Wall Stitch

II. Doing the Corkscrew Stitch:

III. Finishing the Corkscrew Stitch: The Corkscrew Stitch finishes the same way as the Wall Stitch

Tips:
The tightness of stitches makes a big difference in the appearance of this lanyard. A corkscrew lanyard with consistently tight stitches has a significantly better appearance than one with loose stitches.
